Discover authentic Sahara experiences -- from camel trekking to stargazing under infinite desert skies.

The day begins with a journey back in time: today you’ll discover Fès, the oldest of Morocco’s Imperial Cities and still considered the country’s spiritual and cultural heart. After breakfast, you’ll depart with a licensed guide and private driver to explore the labyrinthine alleys of the Medina, a true medieval maze filled with the scents, sounds, and colors of another era. The tour includes visits to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks: the Bou Inania Madrasa, renowned for its exquisite wood and stucco carvings; the beautiful Najjarine Square with its mosaic fountain; and the famous tanneries, where leather is still processed following centuries-old techniques. You’ll pause in front of the Al Karaouine Mosque, considered one of the oldest universities in the world, and visit the Attarine Medersa, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. The tour then continues into the Ville Nouvelle, the elegant modern quarter, and the Jewish district (Mellah), a quiet reminder of the city’s long history of cultural coexistence. You’ll also stop at the Royal Palace (viewed from the outside), the Merenid Tombs overlooking the city, and a traditional ceramics workshop, where you’ll see firsthand how the stunning pieces found in the souks are made. A truly intense and captivating day, filled with millennia-old architecture, art, and the living traditions of Moroccan daily life. Return to the riad in the afternoon.
